Alex Szucs, MSc

Mr. Alex Szucs represents Diversified Business Communications Canada as a Vice President: Medical Group. Diversified Canada is part of an international company of meeting management specialists and education providers to a board range of professionals in Finance, IT and Project Management, as well as Food and Medicine.

Mr. Szucs now oversees the largest annual healthcare exposition in Canada: Primary Care Today in Toronto, the Symposium francophone de medicine in Montreal and the national medical education conference series: Primary Care UPDATES.

Alex brings over 25 years’ experience in healthcare, including executive-level posts at Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, BASF-Knoll Pharma, Abbott Labs, Walsh Pharmaceutical Marketing, Pegasus Healthcare International and Nightingale Informatix. He is specialist in Continuing Health Education. Over the last several years Alex chaired the Strategic Planning committee of the Canadian Alliance for Continuing Health Education (CACHE), the Global Alliance for Medical Education (GAME) and the Canadian Pain Society (CPS).

Alex presently serves on the Board of Trustees of Genesis Research Foundation and was elected Secretary Treasurer to the CACHE Board of Directors in 2006.

Mr. Szucs holds degrees in Zoology and Medical Physiology and a Masters of Science in Endocrinology. He was a Research Fellow at the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Graduate Medicine, prior to his move to industry.

Alex is married with three children, a grandson, and he lives in Markham, Ontario.
